PIAAC 2013 - IBE experts present the findings of the survey in Warsaw
Young Poles' skills are equal to their peers' in OECD countries. Taking into account the perspective of the last 17 years skill gain in Poland was the largest among the countries surveyed. The PIAAC national report was presented in Warsaw by IBE experts: Agnieszka Chłoń-Domińczak, PhD, and the deputy director of the Institute, Zbigniew Stępniewski.

“Six and seven-year olds entering school” study findings

Both six and seven-year-old children finish the first grade of the primary school with the same skills level, children whose competences at the beginning of the school were the lowest, benefit the most – the IBE study findings show. The results of the study were presented at press conference in Warsaw.

Education Enthusiasts at the 8th Congress of Management in Education

During this year's Congress, IBE experts will present the results of the Time and Working Conditions of Teachers study. IBE publications and projects materials will be on display at the Institue’s stall.
The International Congress of Management in Education is an annual meeting of school headmasters and employees of governing and educational supervision authorities, i.e. people involved in education management at central and local levels. The Congress is held under the auspices of the Minister of Education, Krystyna Szumilas, will be attended by about 1000 participants, including foreign guests.
This year's meeting will be held from 25 to 27 September 2013 in Warsaw, at the Private Higher School of Business, Administration and Information Technology (PWSBiA).
