Lower Secondary School Graduate Tracer Study

The aim of this panel study "Lower Secondary School Graduate Tracer Study” is to provide information on the educational and career choices of young Poles (adolescents and young adults) and to identify and understand the mechanisms and circumstances which have an influence on these choices.

As part of the study various factors will be analyzed, such as the influence of skills acquired during subsequent stages of life on educational and career decisions, the relationship between socio-economic and socio-cultural characteristics and educational and career plans, the identification of key moments in the lives of middle-school graduates, when changes to plans concerning educational or professional career occur (rise in aspirations, abandoning intentions), and also identification of the causes of these changes.

The study will allow for the formulation of a recommendation for educational policy, labour market policy and social policy.
