National and International Relations Unit

The Unit's focus is the process of strengthening the research and information base of the education system and, in particular:

identification of the needs of educational communities and conducting evaluation studies on the effectiveness of research results dissemination as well as studies on accessibility of educational information and education-related products,
training for educational research through the development and commissioning of postgraduate and doctoral programmes in education extended with a component on educational research methodology,
organizing a series of seminars entitled "Research and education policy" to promote the results of national and international research in the field of education and their use in decision-making process (evidence-based policy)
stocktaking of existing educational research, including managing the Educational Research Database(Bibe)

The above tasks are carried out in cooperation with national and international research centres and institutions involved in education.
