Teacher Research Unit

The Teacher Research Unit work is based on the belief that the single most important determinant of any education system's success is the quality of teaching staff. The Unit's research projects include a comprehensive description of teachers in demographic and socio-economic terms as well as in terms of their attitudes, beliefs and lifestyles.
.The Unit research focus covers the labour market for teachers, the teaching profession itself and teacher competences. Teacher Research Unit is also involved in institutional analysis of the teaching profession with special focus on the legal regulations and how they translate into practice.

The Unit leader is Dominika Walczak, PhD.
