History Section

The mission of the Section is to change the reality of school history education through the development/improvement of teaching methods. The Section is preparing a research project concerning historical competences of students in Polish schools, and in particular, the introduction of the new core curriculum.
.The Section also intends to develop and implement good teaching practices, new educational solutions and to examine their effectiveness in empirical research. Special attention is given the broadest possible co-operation with educational communities: teachers, schools, universities, institutes and NGOs, both domestic and foreign.
